For the past year, our switch to the low GWP refrigerant R1234YF has led us to collaborate with Tecumseh Europe, a company specialising in commercial refrigeration. The eco-responsibility of our production is a value that we share, so working together makes sense.

The manufacturer and distributor of logistics solutions for healthcare, schools and prisons, Socamel, is collaborating with Tecumseh Europe, a specialist in commercial refrigeration, by choosing R 1234yf. This option is part of their eco-responsible approach.
Socamel has opted for R 1234yf to ensure the cold production of its trolleys, in collaboration with Tecumseh Europe. For several years, this manufacturer has emphasised its commitment to the transition to new refrigerants with very low GWP, including A2L, a category to which R 1234yf belongs. After testing and validation, this commitment is reflected in the marketing of more environmentally friendly products and solutions. According to the manufacturer, “They integrate, from their design, respect for the safety of people and property, high energy efficiency and reliability in order to make the solution economical for the operator and the owner of the system.”
For its part, Socamel was awarded the prize for the best environmental initiative, for its anticipation of regulatory deadlines, by receiving the Valo Resto Pro trophy, a label created by Syneg and the Ecologic organisation. The entire range of SOCAMEL products was presented at Sirha in Eurexpo Lyon. »
